We are looking for a Vice President of Technology. The VP of Technology is a key member of the leadership team responsible for developing and executing a long-term technology vision that drives business growth, operational excellence, and competitive advantage. This executive leader will serve as a strategic business partner across the organization, ensuring technology investments enable every team member to work more efficiently, make better decisions, and deliver greater value to our customers.
The VP of Technology reports to the Chief Financial Officer and collaborates with other members of the executive team to position Robinson as a leader in operational excellence and market relevance.
What You will Do
  • Lead the development of a comprehensive enterprise technology strategy focused on cybersecurity, intellectual property protection, data integration, business intelligence, robotics, digital transformation, and operational scalability.
  • Balance innovation and investment with fiscal discipline and return on investment.
  • Develop and execute a multi-year technology roadmap aligned with corporate objectives which may include enterprise applications, cloud services, networks, telecommunications, and end-user technology.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that protects the organization's systems, data, intellectual property, and business operations.
  • Create a governance framework and strong incident response.
  • Drive initiatives to consolidate, cleanse, and structure historical and operational data into trusted enterprise information assets.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of business processes across all functional areas to identify opportunities for technology-driven improvement and innovation while ensuring AI initiatives and potential for Robotics are aligned with objectives.
  • Build, develop and lead a high-performing IT organization capable of supporting current and future business needs.
  • Develop, monitor and improve key performance indicators.

What You Will Bring
  • Proven success developing and executing enterprise technology strategies that drive measurable business results.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cybersecurity, data governance, infrastructure, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing significant technology budgets and investment portfolios.
  • Experience aligning technology initiatives with organizational strategy and operational objectives.
  • Experience leading data modernization, business intelligence, AI and analytics initiatives is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted partnerships throughout the organizations to position IT as a strategic enabler of business success.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including senior-level management. responsibilities required. Experience specific to manufacturing, distribution, or multi-site operations environment preferred.
  • Ability to travel as needed approximately up to 10% but may fluctuate throughout the year.
