Overview
The Vice President, Audiences will work closely with internal teams across strategy, investment, analytics, and ad tech to integrate audience data into media strategies for our client. This role is pivotal in translating client goals into actionable data solutions, ensuring the effective use of data and technology to drive media and audience strategies.
The VP will guide teams in leveraging audience data tools, such as Epsilon Clean Room, CDPs, and other Publicis and 3P data platforms, to optimize media planning and execution across multiple channels, including digital, video, social, mobile, and offline media. This position is responsible for building strong relationships with clients and data/technology vendors, staying ahead of industry trends, and providing thought leadership to drive smarter, data-driven media strategies. The VP will oversee the creation of audience strategies to drive Client outcomes.
Responsibilities
  • Integration of Audience Data: Facilitate the incorporation of audience data into media planning and execution to ensure data-driven strategies.
    • Prepare data strategy presentation and drive integration in media plan focused on audience details
    • Build and present to client's data and technology use case recommendations and performance reports
    • Manage the process of audience definition, sharing, reporting across the team
  • Collaboration Across Teams: Work in conjunction with Strategy, Investment, Analytics, and Ad Tech teams to translate client goals into actionable data-driven media strategies; sharing guidelines across brands and client teams
  • Leadership and Guidance: Lead Audience team members to ensure that audience insights and signals are seamlessly integrated into all stages of media planning.
  • Developing Strategies and Insights: Create strategies and insights that align with clients' business objectives and desired outcomes.
  • Technical and Analytical Expertise: Ensure team has a strong technical foundation and analytic skills to optimize the use of data and ad tech tools.
  • Driving Client Outcomes: In partnership with AD/Director, lead efforts to use data and technology effectively to achieve client goals and enhance business results.
  • Subject Matter Expertise:
    • Maintaining knowledge of current Adtech/Martech Ecosystems trends
    • Strong understanding of current privacy rules and regulations
    • Strong understanding of research and test design
    • Strong understanding of 1P and 3P industry sources
  • Data Management: Lead Audience team in defining and tracking audience groups, coordinating data sharing with partners, and compiling performance reports.
  • Build And Maintain Relationships: With clients, internal agency counterparts, and data & technology vendor

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in digital media, including consulting (strategy/operations), advanced analytics, marketing technology, or digital strategy/buying.
  • Strong knowledge of digital platforms and tools: DSPs, DMPs, third-party audience data, cross-screen OLV, and data analytics.
  • Experience leveraging audience data for strategic investment and communication decisions.
  • Experience using 3p data and 1p data to impact media and business goals
  • Strong experience managing teams
  • Strong attention to detail, prioritization skills, and a proven ability to operate in high-pressure environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in 3P syndicated industry research tools (eMarketer, comScore, Statista, Mintel, GWI, MRI, crosstab reporting, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proven history of bringing storytelling into data-based presentations

Compensation Range: USD $168,150.00 - USD $230,100.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. This role may also be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
