Vice President of Operations

Your Impact
As Vice President of Operations, you will lead enterprise-wide manufacturing operations across a growing multi-site network, building the systems, teams, and operating discipline required to support Accelevation's next phase of growth. You will drive operational excellence through scalable processes, Lean manufacturing principles, and data-driven decision making while improving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and profitability.
This executive role partners closely with senior leadership to translate strategy into execution, standardize operations across facilities, and build a high-performing organization capable of supporting rapid expansion.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Lead manufacturing operations across multiple facilities while driving alignment, standardization, and operational excellence
  • Develop and execute the operational strategy that supports company growth, profitability, and long-term scalability
  • Build and implement a Lean operating system focused on continuous improvement and operational discipline
  • Own operational performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, productivity, and customer satisfaction
  • Partner with Finance to improve forecasting accuracy, cost control, margin expansion, and resource utilization
  • Establish KPI dashboards and performance management systems that provide real-time operational visibility
  • Lead operational transformation initiatives including automation, process optimization, technology implementation, and infrastructure improvements
  • Build scalable operating models that support organic growth, new facilities, and acquisitions
  • Partner with Commercial, Engineering, Supply Chain, Program Management, and executive leadership to improve enterprise execution
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing operations leadership team while building succession plans and organizational capability
  • Establish governance, accountability, and reporting structures that drive consistent execution across all manufacturing locations
  • Foster a culture centered on safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • MBA preferred
  • 15+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, including significant experience leading multi-site operations
  • Demonstrated success leading large manufacturing organizations through rapid growth and operational transformation
  • Proven experience managing large P amp;Ls and driving improvements in profitability, productivity, and operational performance
  • Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
  • Experience in metal fabrication, welding, manufacturing, assembly, industrial equipment, or related industries
  • Experience with ERP systems, operational analytics, and performance management tools
  • Proven ability to build high-performing teams, develop leaders, and lead organizational change
  • Excellent executive communication, strategic planning, and cross-functional leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading operations within a high-growth or private equity-backed manufacturing company
  • Experience integrating acquisitions and standardizing operations across multiple facilities
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or similar operational excellence certification
  • Experience implementing automation and digital manufacturing initiatives
