Responsibilities
  • Acting as a critical bridge between accounting execution and executive leadership to ensure the integrity of financial reporting, drive technical accounting policy, and lead global consolidations.
  • Directly manage a high‑performing team of Senior Managers and offshore resources, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations while spearheading process transformation.
  • Provide final review of all external reporting (Form10‑K, Form10‑Q) and debt covenant packages, ensuring narrative disclosures accurately reflect the company’s financial health and strategic direction.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of quarterly reporting packages to Brookfield, serving as the primary liaison with Brookfield’s corporate reporting team to ensure alignment on accounting policies, reporting timelines, and data requirements.
  • Serve as the subject‑matter expert on complex technical accounting (ASC842, M&A, equity‑method accounting, fund consolidation, and segment reporting).
  • Lead the implementation of new FASB/SEC standards and draft high‑level accounting memos.
  • Oversee complex intercompany accounting and eliminations, ensuring transactions are properly documented, reconciled, and consolidated to prevent misstatements at the parent level.
  • Drive the evolution of the Workday ERP environment, automating manual processes, optimizing the global close cycle, and improving financial data transparency.
  • Manage and develop the Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting and oversee offshore teams in Hyderabad.
  • Balance routine reporting with high‑impact project work to foster professional growth.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for external auditors and internal audit teams.
  • Present financial results and control frameworks to senior leadership including the SVP, MD, and CFO.
  • Partner with International Accounting team, Tax, Treasury, Corporate Finance, and Legal to support earnings releases, tax planning, and capital markets transactions.
  • Oversee the SOX compliance framework for corporate accounting, ensuring a robust control environment that scales with the company’s growth.
Qualifications
  • 10–12+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a subsidiary‑to‑parent reporting structure, including reporting to a large public parent company.
  • Strong understanding of business operations and their link to accounting, with the ability to initiate and lead process improvements and develop standard operating procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to navigate and resolve complex accounting issues.
  • Public accounting experience a plus.
  • Specific experience with Workday systems a plus and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • CPA required.

Base Salary Range
