Position Summary

We are seeking a visionary executive to define and execute our long-term vision for safety excellence across our manufacturing, construction, electrical, technology, automation, and field service operations. The Vice President of Enterprise Safety serves as the company's foremost authority on safety culture, behavioral science, predictive intelligence, and organizational risk management.

Rather than focusing solely on regulatory compliance, this leader will transform safety into a strategic business advantage. By leveraging predictive analytics, behavioral psychology, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies, you will build a proactive, data-driven culture where incidents are anticipated and prevented before they occur.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enterprise Safety Strategy: Develop and execute a multi-year safety strategy and operating system that positions safety as a measurable competitive advantage scaling with company growth.

  • Safety Culture Transformation: Partner with HR and business leaders to champion a culture where safety is a personal responsibility and psychologically safe environment. Integrate safety into hiring, onboarding, and leadership development.

  • Predictive Analytics & Intelligence: Build enterprise capabilities using AI, machine learning, near-miss intelligence, and wearable tech to create executive dashboards measuring leading indicators and predictive risk scores.

  • Behavioral Science: Design systems grounded in organizational psychology to analyze human performance, cognitive biases, and fatigue indicators, shifting the culture from enforcement to coaching.

  • Innovation & Tech: Evaluate and implement next-generation safety tech, including computer vision, drones, robotics, IoT sensors, and VR/AR training.

  • Risk & Governance: Oversee enterprise risk mitigation across all hazards (operational, human factors, electrical, supply chain). Maintain top-tier governance exceeding OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, DOT, and EPA standards.

  • Organizational Learning: Establish root-cause analysis and knowledge-sharing systems that rapidly turn incidents into continuous improvement opportunities across all operating companies.

Education (Minimum Requirement)

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Risk Management, or a closely related field is required.

A master's degree in safety, Engineering, Business Administration (MBA), Organizational Leadership, Human Resources, or a related discipline is strongly preferred.

Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHST, ASP, CUSP, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or equivalent executive-level safety and operational certifications are highly desirable.

Minimum Educational Requirement: To ensure consistency and maintain the executive standards established for this position, only candidates who meet the minimum educational requirement of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution will be considered for employment. Candidates who do not meet this minimum qualification will not be considered, regardless of experience or other credentials
