Job description

Illuminate Psychotherapy, Inc. is a  private practice providing quality mental health care and evidence-based practices to individuals, couples and families. We foster an inviting, warm, and whole-hearted experience to help our clients illuminate and heal from their darkest moments. Clearly understanding our clients' presenting issues by providing a safe non-judgmental humanistic approach and helping them achieve their best version of themselves are our top priority.

MUST PASS THE CREDENTIALING PROCESS TO BE HIRED; MUST BE CA BBS LICENSED.

Job Responsibilities:

-Assess, diagnosis, and prepare treatment plans that are clinically appropriate for the client(s).

- Provide 45-50 min individual, family or couples therapy in person or virtually.

- Complete proper clinical documentation within 24 hours of completing a session.

- Participate and engage in clinical consultation (1-2 hours weekly)

- Max caseload of 30 clients per week

LMFTs are required to have:

- Active CA BBS LMFT registration number

- An electronic device to provide telehealth appointments (smart phone, tablet, PC, or laptop)

- Stay current with any CA BBS requirements as LMFT

- Provide your own malpractice insurance

Illuminate Psychotherapy, Inc. provides:

- Assistance building caseload

- Clinical and caseload consultations

- SimplePractice (patient electronic health record keeping)

- Administrative liaison between clients and clinician (i.e. handling referrals, scheduling appointments, billing etc.)

- Limited liability CPH insurance as a W-2 employee

- Worker’s Compensation insurance

- Office space for in-person appointments

- Paid sick leave

- Military leave

- Family medical leave

LMFT compensation $50-80/hr depending upon experience.

In a typical given work week, clinician would have 0-30 clients scheduled.

Hours worked would be dependent upon the clinician’s caseload.

Preferred specializations: EMDR, DBT, CBT, Gottman Couples Therapy

Preferred availability:

Monday through Friday 8am-8pm

Saturdays 8-12pm
