Vice President of Logistics - B&W Sales & Equipment

B&W Sales & Equipment is the shared services organization supporting Neighborgall Construction, Metro Masonry, and affiliated companies. We provide fleet and equipment maintenance, logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, asset management, and material coordination that keep our field operations productive and our projects moving.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Vice President to lead all aspects of B&W's operations. Reporting to executive leadership, this position is responsible for the organization's strategic direction, operational performance, financial management, personnel development, safety, fleet and equipment management, and logistics operations.

The Vice President will lead the Shop Foreman, mechanics, drivers, and support personnel while continuing to strengthen B&W as a high-performing shared services organization focused on safety, reliability, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide executive leadership for all fleet maintenance, equipment management, transportation, logistics, warehouse, and support operations.
  • Lead and develop the Shop Foreman, mechanics, drivers, and future operational staff while fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
  • Develop annual operating plans, budgets, capital investment strategies, and long-term operational initiatives.
  • Maximize fleet and equipment availability through effective maintenance planning, asset lifecycle management, and operational oversight.
  • Direct the procurement, staging, transportation, and delivery of construction materials, particularly masonry materials supporting Metro Masonry operations.
  • Coordinate equipment, materials, and transportation resources to meet the operational needs of Neighborgall Construction and Metro Masonry.
  • Oversee purchasing, inventory, vendor relationships, warehouse operations, fuel management, and asset tracking.
  • Establish key performance indicators that improve equipment utilization, logistics performance, safety, operational efficiency, and cost control.
  • Partner with company leadership to anticipate operational needs and deliver reliable support to field operations.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, environmental, and other applicable regulations.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve systems, technology, and processes that enhance operational performance and customer service.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on leader with experience managing complex operations in construction, fleet management, logistics, transportation, equipment, industrial services, or a related industry.

Qualified candidates will possess:
  • Executive or senior leadership experience managing multidisciplinary operations.
  • Strong financial and business management skills, including budgeting, capital planning, and operational analysis.
  • Experience with fleet maintenance, logistics, transportation, procurement, warehouse operations, and asset management.
  • Demonstrated ability to build teams, improve processes, and lead organizational change.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent leadership experience will be considered.
