Description

Tyto Athene is searching for a Vice President of Business Development, Intelligence Community. We are seeking a solution-oriented hunter to identify, pursue, and close new business across Intelligence customers. This role will focus on building a targeted $500M annual pipeline and winning $125M+ per year in new single-award opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, qualify, pursue, and close new single-award opportunities across the Intelligence community for our offerings.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline leveraging Tyto Athene’s prime contract vehicles.
  • Develop strategic relationships with senior Intelligence customers, partners, and suppliers.
  • Serve as a player coach for all Intelligence community efforts to drive capture efforts, including qualification, Gate reviews, win strategy, value proposition, and pricing (including Price-to-Win).
  • Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to ensure innovative, deliverable solutions.
  • Close $125M in new business per year with your team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (business, technical, or related field).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience selling new business into Intelligence Community customers.
  • Proven record of winning at least 3 single-award opportunities valued at $75M+ each in the past 4 years, acting as the primary driver from identification to close.
  • Strong background in selling enterprise IT, network engineering, cybersecurity, or SW Dev for Intelligence customers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Competitive “hunter” mindset with willingness to travel.

  • Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. Compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements.
