About this Role

The Vice President, Operations is a senior leader responsible for enabling consistent, efficient, and scalable business operations across the Company's portfolio of operating companies. This role partners closely with various leadership teams to improve business processes, operational governance, and performance across the EPC lifecycle while respecting the decentralized operating model.

This position serves as a connector between corporate strategy and operating execution-driving standardization, best-practice sharing, and continuous improvement across internal companies, functions, and regions.

What You'll Do
  • Serves as a strategic partner to QISG and Operating Company leadership teams to support operational effectiveness, scalability, and performance improvement
  • Collaborates within the organization to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities across core business processes
  • Supports operating companies through growth, integration, and change initiatives while maintaining local accountability
  • Leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise business processes across business functions.
  • Establishes governance frameworks, operating standards, and performance expectations for assigned groups
  • Enables enterprise-level visibility into operational performance, trends, and risks across operating companies
  • Acts as a bridge between operating companies and corporate functions including, but not limited to, Finance, Legal, HR, IT, Safety, and Commercial Development
  • Drives consistent approaches to change management, claims, and contract compliance
  • Leads continuous improvement initiatives focused on simplification, efficiency, and scalability
  • Identifies, standardizes, and deploys best practices across operating companies
  • Champions data-driven decision-making and consistent use of tools and systems
  • Partners with IT and OpCos to guide the deployment and adoption of ERP, project controls, and operational systems
  • Ensures systems support standardized processes, reliable data, and real-time operational insight
  • Drives adoption and change management associated with new tools and process improvements
  • Influences and leads through collaboration in a decentralized organization
  • Builds strong relationships and credibility with OpCo leaders and functional executives
  • Supports leadership development and operational maturity for the organization
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, or equivalent field; equivalent work experience, or combination of work and education, may be substituted
  • 12+ years' of progressive experience within an EPC, construction, or engineering services organization; demonstrated experience working across multiple operating companies in a decentralized model driving enterprise change, development, and improvement
  • Ability to influence and drive results across operating companies in a decentralized environment without direct authority
  • Strong understanding of EPC business processes across engineering, procurement, and construction
  • Proven capability designing, standardizing, and scaling enterprise business processes while preserving local flexibility
  • Executive-level change management skills, including driving adoption of new processes, tools, and systems
  • Ability to leverage data, analytics, and operational systems (ERP, project controls) to drive insight and decisions
  • Ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives in EPC or construction environments
  • Strong executive communication and facilitation skills
  • Trusted advisor mindset with the ability to translate strategy into actionable expectations for the organization
