Summary:

The VP, General Manager oversees all aspects of a business unit, including strategic planning, financial management, team leadership, and operational efficiency, to drive growth and profitability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership:

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.

  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.

  • Manage and coordinate activities of different departments or teams.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

  • Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business goals.

  • Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats.

  • Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.

  • Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial stability and profitability.

  • Monitor financial performance and identify areas for cost reduction or improvement.

  • Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of employees, providing guidance and support.

  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees.

  • Recruit, hire, and train new employees.

  • Customer Relationship Management:

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Address customer complaints and issues in a timely and effective manner.

  • Communication and Collaboration:

  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to achieve common goals.

  • Safety:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field

  • NC HVAC Contractors License or ability to attain one

  • Possess a valid driver’s license

  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship


Preferred Qualifications (not required):


  • Several years of experience in a management or leadership role.



Physical Demands:

  • Ability to operate computer, phone and other office equipment as needed

  • Ability to work effectively using a personal computer for long periods of time

  • Ability to sit/stand at workstation for extended periods of time

  • Ability to read, write, speak, hear, see, think, communicate, concentrate, learn, and work

  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
