Job description

Overview

Meet Sievo. We are Sievo, a Finnish-born, global-leading procurement analytics SaaS company. We help the world’s largest brands to generate cost savings, understand procurement data, make data-driven decisions, reduce emissions, drive supply chain resilience, and beyond. Our team of 450+ is based in Chicago, Helsinki, Bucharest, and London.

About the role

We are looking for a Vice President of Partnerships to lead Sievo’s Partnerships function end-to-end. You will set the strategy across consulting, data, software, and reseller partnerships; deepen relationships with priority consulting firms; activate joint business development; and build an operating model that makes partnerships a scalable growth engine. Consulting partnerships are our primary channel and a core focus for the team.

This is a senior, highly visible role reporting to the SVP of Sales & Customer Success. You will lead a team of seven and work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and the executive team. The consulting channel is evolving with AI, so we are seeking someone energized by strategic ambiguity and category change, not just a fixed playbook.

What you’ll do
  • Own Sievo’s overall partnerships strategy across consulting, data, software, and reseller partnerships, with consulting as the primary channel.
  • Build, deepen, and activate relationships with priority consulting firms across procurement, supply chain, digital transformation, and related advisory practices.
  • Drive joint business development with partners and internal sales, from account mapping and co-proposals to spend cube engagements and commercial closure.
  • Build and run a scalable operating model for partnerships, including enablement, governance, engagement rhythms, and performance tracking.
  • Lead and grow the Partnerships team (currently 7 FTEs) and shape its structure in line with your strategy.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to ensure commercial alignment and a seamless partner experience.
  • Represent Sievo externally with senior partner stakeholders and travel internationally as needed.
What we’re looking for
  • Experience working in or closely with management consulting, ideally in procurement, supply chain, or digital transformation practices, with understanding of how top-tier firms operate, sell, and influence client technology and vendor decisions.
  • Executive-level communication and relationship-building skills to engage senior stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Strong ownership and leadership skills, with experience leading teams or cross-functional commercial initiatives.
  • Commercial drive and comfort owning a revenue target: turning relationships into pipeline and closed revenue, not just well-managed accounts.
  • A builder mindset; we expect you to build, challenge, and lead, not merely manage existing processes.
  • Fluency in English.
What we also appreciate
  • A proven track record of building strategic partnerships or alliances in a partner, alliance, or ecosystem role at a B2B SaaS company.
  • Familiarity with procurement, supply chain, spend analytics, or enterprise data platforms, and exposure to data, software, or reseller partnerships.
  • Experience with global strategy firms, Big Four consultancies, procurement specialists, transformation boutiques, or systems integrators.
  • Additional language skills, especially French or German.
What awaits you at Sievo
  • A senior, high-impact role owning one of Sievo’s most strategic growth levers end-to-end, with a direct line to Sievo’s commercial growth and executive team.
  • Real ownership to shape the entire Partnerships function, from strategy and structure to partner portfolio and operating model, with an established 7-person team from day one.
  • Sievonians are ambitious, yet kind and supportive – you’ll work with an international team of 40+ nationalities, collaborating with smart, driven, and genuinely kind people.
  • Our Nordic roots emphasize an open, honest, and transparent culture that values freedom and responsibility, while upholding high standards. We provide a flexible work environment that respects work-life balance and being yourself.
Some benefits to mention
  • Unlimited PTO (minimum 25 days per year, up to 4 consecutive weeks off)
  • Paid parental leave
  • Medical, dental and vision insurance plans
  • FSAs, HSAs
  • Short-term & long-term disability insurance
  • Life insurance / AD&D, and other electable benefits
  • 401k with a 4% match
  • Home internet, mobile phone plan, and home office stipend
  • Commuter benefits
  • Employee stock option program
Salary range

$200,000 - $300,000 OTE. Salary will be determined at the conclusion of the interview process based on your skills and experience.

Work type

Hybrid, based in Chicago, IL. The position requires international travel to meet partners, customers and internal stakeholders (approximately monthly).

Please note that Sievo is currently unable to offer visa sponsorship.

How to apply

Submit your CV and application through our recruitment system by August 7th. We screen applications on an ongoing basis, so we’re looking forward to receiving your application as soon as possible.

If you have questions about the position, contact the SVP of Sales & Customer Success, Ossi Karali (ossi.karali[at]sievo.com).
