Job description

A well-funded, clinical stage biotechnology company at the forefront of targeted protein degradation is seeking a Vice President of Translational Medicine & Clinical Biomarkers to lead enterprise-wide translational strategy across a growing oncology and immunology pipeline. This is a rare opportunity to shape how groundbreaking science is translated into clinical impact while influencing critical portfolio and development decisions.


Reporting directly to the CSO, you will:

  • Own translational medicine and clinical biomarker strategy from discovery through late-stage development
  • Drive biomarker-driven clinical decision making, patient selection, and precision medicine approaches
  • Lead and scale a high-performing translational sciences organization
  • Partner closely with Research, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Data Science, and executive leadership
  • Represent the company externally with KOLs, investigators, partners, and regulatory agencies
  • Help define the translational framework for next-generation targeted protein degradation therapies


We're looking for a proven scientific leader who has:

  • 15+ years in translational medicine and clinical biomarkers within biotech/pharma
  • Deep oncology experience with exposure to immunology/inflammation preferred
  • Experience advancing programs from IND through clinical proof-of-concept
  • Expertise across pharmacodynamic, predictive, prognostic, and safety biomarkers
  • A track record of building teams, influencing strategy, and driving clinical inflection points
