Coke Florida is looking for a Distribution Center Manager based out of our Jacksonville location. Working Monday-Friday with occasional nights/weekends.

What You Will Do

As a Coke Florida Distribution Center Manager, you will be responsible for managing the execution of day-to-day Distribution Center operations (both Distribution and Warehouse) within parameters of Safety, Service, and Cost. The distribution center manager will act as the primary liaison between distribution center and sales team management to ensure timely and accurate deliveries in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for day-to-day activities of planning, executing and collaborating in all phases of the Warehouse and Distribution operations
  • Liaison between distribution center and sales team management to ensure timely and accurate deliveries in an efficient and cost-effective manner
  • Manage execution of day-to-day Distribution Center operations (both Distribution and Warehouse) within parameters of Safety, Service, and Cost
  • Familiarity with operating and standing up warehouse automation within a facility
  • Responsible for process compliance within Distribution and warehouse operations
  • Oversees total compliance with all regulations as it relates to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration
  • Support and implement Company initiatives to achieve performance, quality and safety metrics
  • Proactively improve process functioning outcomes and strive for enhanced levels of efficiency
  • Ensure the safeguard and security of Company assets (buildings, PIT equipment, trucks, trailers)
  • Be a visible and engaging leader and have that expectation of your team
  • Collaborates with all functions within a facility to ensure that all departments work together to execute all company programs and lead all departments with a One Team concept. Facilitates sharing and learning of best practices within the facility and around the company
For this role, you will need
  • 7+ years previous Supply Chain/Operations supervisory or management experience (which includes Distribution, Warehouse and Fleet responsibilities) in a related industry
  • Has worked in, stood up and/or led a facility into using Warehouse automation
  • Hands-on Manager who can operate with limited direction
  • Strong leadership and presence are a MUST
  • Experience with hot /cold/wet environments with loud machinery, fumes and moving vehicles
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple functions and work problems to a conclusion
  • Ability to manage a multishift-shift operation utilizing chain of command
  • Ability to work flexible hours to engage with teams
