POSITION SUMMARY

The Vice President of Digital Marketing & Performance is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving STAT Marketing’s digital vision, strategy, and performance. This leader will bring deep expertise across digital channels, customer acquisition, performance marketing, and integrated brand experiences, while leading a multidisciplinary team responsible for website strategy, search, content, email, social media, and digital optimization. The role is focused on delivering cohesive, data-driven digital marketing strategies that strengthen brand presence, improve engagement, optimize lead generation, and support organizational growth.

Reporting to the SVP of Strategic Marketing, the VP will oversee digital marketing operations, including team leadership, agency management, digital systems, and cross-functional collaboration. This individual will serve as both a strategic advisor and operational leader, capable of influencing stakeholders, mentoring high-performing teams, and driving measurable business impact through innovative digital marketing strategies.

This position directly overseas STAT Digital Marketing contributing team members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with SVP of Strategic Marketing on high-level marketing initiatives to support community traditional and digital lead generation and lead conversion efforts
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for the digital agency relationship, directly managing functional leads across website strategy, search, content, email, social media, and digital optimization, each responsible for their respective teams
  • Become an authority on all markets in which DSL operates and develop an understanding of community competitive landscape, sales objections and differentiators, articulating insights to transform recommendations into innovative integrated marketing campaign strategies
  • Own the overarching digital strategy including website strategy, search, content, email, social media, and digital optimization for communities ensuring alignment with business goals, brand voice, and marketing strategic initiatives and objectives
  • Oversight of digital eco-system, platforms, and agencies
  • Analyze ongoing lead generation performance, conducting channel analysis, tracking KPIs, and optimizing spend in partnership with centralized marketing leadership and analytics to improve ROI
  • Own STAT Marketing revenue, billing, and agency budgets including resources, tools, platforms, and agency partnerships, and oversee SOWs, scopes, and deliverables to align with strategic priorities
  • Analyze monthly agency financials and report on variances as appropriate
  • Monitor project budgets and ROI, recommending resourcing or process shifts to drive efficiency and results
  • Uphold brand consistency and quality across all digital marketing, experiential, and environmental channels
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact lead generation outcomes
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of proprietary DSL marketing programs
  • Support investor-facing discussions by providing marketing strategy insights, digital performance data, reporting, and analysis for presentations and ad hoc inquiries
  • Stay ahead of digital trends, tools, and platform changes to ensure the organization remains competitive and relevant
  • Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing digital marketing team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous development
  • Define roles, workflows, and success metrics across creative and digital teams to optimize output and collaboration
  • Assist with onboarding and training new team members on marketing best practices and programs
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Educational Requirements and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 12+ years of progressive experience leading integrated marketing strategy, with deep expertise across digital disciplines
  • Industry experience in senior living, healthcare, real estate, or agency settings strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success in developing, leading and executing digital agency strategies that drive engagement and business growth
  • Experience in performance marketing and lead generation environments
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing analysis, reporting, and ROI measurement
  • Working knowledge of AI Marketing tools
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing large-scale budgets, GL coding, P&L oversight, and forecasting
  • Proficient in interpreting and presenting ROI data to executive teams and investment partners
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot)
  • Proven leadership of cross-functional and matrixed teams within high-growth or high-pressure environments
  • Demonstrated ability to scale digital operations to support organizational growth
  • Expert level familiarity with analytics tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, PBI, etc.
  • Strategic, innovative thinker with a collaborative, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset

Language Skills: Above average communication skills.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commission’s proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to articulate data and present to senior teams and investment partners; Ability to track, analyze and report data on ROI including Cost Per Leads, Cost Per Move-In, Cost Per Channel; Excellent writing, grammar, editing, and copywriting skills required. Ability to thrive and multi-task in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
