Job description

The Senior Vice President of Information Technology provides strategic leadership and oversight of the Credit Union’s entire technology organization, including applications, core systems, infrastructure, data management, analytics, artificial intelligence, telecommunications, software development, and vendor relationships. This role ensures technology initiatives align with the Credit Union’s strategic objectives, drive innovation, improve operational efficiency, and support exceptional member service.

In addition to fulfilling all responsibilities of the VP of Information Technology, the SVP actively contributes to executive and board-level strategic planning, leads high-level technology discussions, oversees IT governance, budgeting, risk management, and disaster recovery efforts, and champions a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. The SVP serves as a key member of the Senior Management Team and acts on behalf of the Chief Information Officer when needed, helping guide the Credit Union’s long-term technology vision, growth, and success.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:  

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

Additional education, professional certifications, specialized training, and other relevant qualifications related to information technology and information systems are highly desirable.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

Ten (10) years of progressive experience in computer systems and operations, preferably in a financial institution to include five (5) years of managing Information Technology as a Director level plus three (3) years of senior management experience.
