Corporate Job Title: Vice President of Inspection Operations

About the Role:


The Vice President of Inspection Operations will lead and oversee all inspection activities within the organization via functional reporting lines, ensuring that operational standards meet or exceed industry regulations and client expectations. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing strategic initiatives that enhance inspection processes, improve quality control, and drive best practices, automation and operational efficiency across multiple teams and locations.


The VP will collaborate closely with senior leadership to align inspection operations with broader business objectives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compliance. They will also be responsible for managing key stakeholder relationships, including clients, regulatory bodies, and internal departments, to ensure transparency and accountability.


Ultimately, this position aims to safeguard the integrity and reputation of the company by delivering reliable, timely, and high-quality inspection services.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • At least 15 years of progressive experience in inspection operations or quality assurance within TIC O&G and/or other commodity services industry.
  • Proven leadership experience managing large teams and complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of TIC O&G industry regulations, compliance standards, and inspection methodologies. Knowledgeable and versed about common field inspection practices and applicable ASTM, API norms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (optional), Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  • Bilingual, English & Spanish.
  • Experience with automation, digital inspection technologies and data analytics tools.
  • Certification in quality management systems such as Six Sigma, ISO 9001, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated success in driving operational transformation and process optimization.
  • Experience working in a multi-site and/or highly diverse, global operational environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive inspection manuals & procedures, workforce training & development plans, and strategies that align with company goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage inspection teams to ensure consistent performance and professional development.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of quality assurance protocols and operational workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to integrate inspection insights into business processes and decision-making.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and prepare detailed reports for executive leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, legal regulations, and safety guidelines.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing inspection data and feedback to optimize operational effectiveness.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships related to inspection operations.
