About the Role
iCapital is seeking a Vice President or Senior Vice President to lead Pricing Strategy and support one of iCapital's most important strategic functions. This role sits at the center of key business decisions, partnering closely with senior executive leadership to develop pricing strategies that drive growth, profitability, and long-term enterprise value. This role will help shape pricing frameworks, evaluate client and product opportunities, assess competitive dynamics, and develop data-driven recommendations that balance commercial objectives with sustainable economics. Operating at the intersection of strategy, finance, analytics, and business development, this role offers significant executive visibility and the opportunity to influence firm-wide commercial strategy across products, channels, and geographies.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the firm's Pricing Committee, including agenda development, analysis, governance, recommendations, and follow-up actions.
  • Partner directly with executive leadership on strategic pricing decisions, commercial opportunities, and business growth initiatives.
  • Work with the Business Development, Relationship Management, Distribution, and Product teams to structure and price new business opportunities and strategic client engagements.
  • Build and lead a pricing strategy team responsible for reviewing client-specific requests, conducting analyses, and supporting commercial decision-making.
  • Design and enhance pricing frameworks that support product positioning, value-based pricing, and long-term competitive differentiation.
  • Own and maintain the Global Standard Pricing Compendium, ensuring pricing frameworks remain current, scalable, and consistently applied.
  • Build and maintain pricing precedents, historical decisions, and supporting documentation to improve consistency and decision quality.
  • Draft, implement, and maintain pricing policies, governance standards, and control procedures.
  • Develop pricing analyses, dashboards, and reporting on pricing trends, fee realization, take rates, margin performance, and business mix evolution.
  • Conduct market, competitor, and industry research to evaluate pricing trends, fee compression risks, and emerging commercial strategies.
  • Partner closely with Strategic Finance teams to model revenue opportunities, cost structures, profitability, and return on investment for pricing decisions.
  • Develop best-in-class disclosures and client-facing language describing iCapital's pricing methodologies, value proposition, and commercial arrangements.
Qualifications
  • 9 - 15 years of experience in pricing strategy, management consulting, strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, or other analytical and commercial leadership roles
  • Experience developing pricing strategies, commercial frameworks, revenue optimization initiatives, or profitability analyses within financial services, fintech, asset management, or related industries
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities, including financial modeling, business case development, pricing analytics, and quantitative decision support.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives and effectively communicate complex analyses to C-suite audiences and synthesizing large amounts of data into actionable recommendations and executive-ready presentations
  • Strong commercial judgment with the ability to balance revenue growth, profitability, client needs, and competitive positioning
  • Experience working cross-functionally with finance, sales, product, operations, legal, and executive leadership teams
  • Track record of building processes, governance frameworks, and scalable operating models in evolving organizations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop executive materials, committee presentations, policies, and client-facing content
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously
  • Previous experience leading teams and developing talent is preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with pricing analytics, business intelligence, and financial planning tools are a plus
