POSITION SUMMARY

The Vice President of Sales is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives that drive revenue growth, expand market penetration, and strengthen customer relationships. This role provides leadership, coaching, and direction to the sales and customer service teams while implementing effective processes, tools, and performance metrics to support a high-volume, fast-paced sales environment. The VP of Sales partners cross-functionally with other departments to align sales strategies with company objectives, identify new business opportunities, and deliver customer-focused solutions. Success in this position requires strong sales leadership experience, data-driven decision-making, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with key accounts, customers, and strategic partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration in the industry.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate high-performing sales and customer service teams, providing guidance, support, and training to enhance individual and collective performance.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships, alliances, and distribution channels, to expand our customer base and revenue streams.
  • Implement effective sales processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize sales efficiency and effectiveness based on high volume and short lead times.
  • Leverage Microsoft Dynamics Sales/CRM to analyze business data, create reports, and support strategic sales and operational decisions.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and customers, serving as a trusted advisor and partner to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Partner with marketing and operations teams to ensure sales initiatives support overall business objectives and enhance customer outcomes.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify emerging opportunities and threats, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Develop sales forecasts and track key performance metrics to measure progress and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand awareness and generate leads.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven record of success in a sales leadership role, including experience managing customer service representatives, inside sales teams, and outside sales professionals.
  • Preferred experience within manufacturing/print technologies, products, and solutions.
  • Developed and executed strategic sales plans aligned with business objectives to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
  • Built strong relationships with leadership through effective communication, collaboration, and negotiation to support business objectives.
  • Leveraged sales forecasting and data analysis to drive sales strategies and performance improvements.
