Compensation and Benefits


Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $5,797 - $6,031 per month (Steps 1-3) 

Full CSU Classification Salary Range: $5,797 - $8,445 per month

  • This is a full-time, probationary, exempt position

The CSU system provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision plans, membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), sick and vacation time, and 15 paid holidays a year. Job Summary

The Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management (VPSAEM) serves as a strategic partner and senior administrative leader within a large, complex, and highly visible division at California State University, Fresno.

This position provides advanced-level executive, operational, and project management support, ensuring the effective coordination of divisional priorities aligned with institutional goals related to enrollment, student success, retention, and graduation.

Operating with a high degree of autonomy, judgment, and discretion, the incumbent supports the Vice President with administrative and operational details, while simultaneously contributing to strategic planning, policy development, and execution of key initiatives. The role serves as a central liaison between the VPSAEM, campus leadership, CSU Chancellor's Office, external partners, and the community.

In addition, this position plays a critical role in:

  • Driving strategic communications and messaging
  • Coordinating high-impact projects and initiatives
  • Ensuring compliance with CSU policies and executive directives
  • Optimizing workflow, decision-making, and executive effectiveness
