We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Applied AI Product Manager to join our Innovation Team and drive the design, development, and delivery of AI-powered solutions that transform how work gets done across the bank. This leader will partner closely with product, engineering, and business teams to operationalize AI capabilities and bring intelligent automation platforms to production at enterprise scale.Â
This role is located in New York, NY (4 days in office per week).Â
As Senior Vice President, Applied AI Product Manager, you will lead the development and execution of AI-driven products that modernize business processes and enable scalable automation across enterprise functions. You will partner with engineering, data science, and business stakeholders to translate complex operational challenges into AI-enabled solutions that improve efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance client outcomes.Â
You will focus on product execution, platform delivery, and adoption, ensuring solutions are reliable, scalable, and aligned with enterprise governance standards.Â
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:Â
Product Strategy & Roadmap ExecutionÂ
- Execute the applied AI product roadmap aligned to enterprise AI strategy and platform prioritiesÂ
- Translate business needs into product requirements, backlog priorities, and release plansÂ
- Identify opportunities for AI-enabled automation within specific domains or workflowsÂ
- Work with engineering and data science to refine technical solutions and product featuresÂ
AI-Powered Process InnovationÂ
- Translate operational challenges into AI-enabled features, automation workflows, or decision-support toolsÂ
- Support development of LLM-powered solutions, intelligent automation, and agent-enabled workflowsÂ
- Work with platform teams to implement AI capabilities within existing business processesÂ
Execution & Cross-Functional DeliveryÂ
- Leads delivery of specific AI products or capabilities across product, engineering, and data science teamsÂ
- Coordinates development, testing, and deployment of AI-enabled solutionsÂ
- Removes blockers and ensures alignment within product delivery teamsÂ
- Work with engineering, data science, and operational stakeholders to deliver AI product featuresÂ
- Communicate requirements, priorities, and delivery progressÂ
- Help translate technical capabilities into practical business outcomesÂ
- Track product-level metrics such as automation adoption, workflow efficiency, and user engagementÂ
- Use feedback and data to iterate and improve AI product performanceÂ
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:Â
- 8-10 years of experience in Applied AI product management, AI-enabled product development, or enterprise software deliveryÂ
- Strong understanding of:Â
- AI-powered product capabilitiesÂ
- Intelligent automation and agentificationÂ
- Experience working with engineering and data science teams to deliver applied AI productsÂ
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture patterns including APIs, microservices, and distributed systemsÂ
- Ability to translate complex business challenges into scalable technical solutionsÂ
- Strong product delivery, prioritization, and stakeholder management skillsÂ
- Bachelor's degree in STEM or related disciplineÂ
- Experience implementing LLM-based solutions or intelligent automation platformsÂ
- Familiarity with AI lifecycle management, model monitoring, and observability toolsÂ
- Experience working in regulated or enterprise environmentsÂ
- Certifications: CSPO, A-CSPO, SAFe POPM, CSM, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Generative AI specialization.Â
- Advanced degree preferredÂ

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $102,000 and $215,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.Â
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
