We're hiring a VP of Sales or Director of Sales (in-office, Lehi, UT)
Distro is the leader in AI vetting and screening technology. We were first to market back in 2021 and have seen tremendous user growth since. We are growing our team and need additional leadership help. This very technology is being used in the process of getting hired for this role. Role overview
We’re looking for an experienced sales leader ready to step into a VP-level role or a Director of Sales who’s ready to move up. This is an in-office role based in Lehi, Utah, with a competitive base salary starting at $150,000+ and significant variable compensation tied to performance. You will own revenue growth, build and scale a sales organization, and help shape go-to-market strategy.
What you’ll do
• Lead and grow a small sales team into a high-performing, larger organization.
• Manage the full sales pipeline and implement sales methodology to improve conversion and forecasting accuracy.
• Hire, train, and mentor sales reps and SDRs; design and run sales training and enablement programs.
• Oversee inbound and outbound sales strategies and align marketing/SDR efforts to revenue goals.
• Manage partnerships and strategic relationships (nice-to-have).
• Collaborate with and manage a global team of sales representatives and coordinate across time zones.
• Use HubSpot as the primary CRM (Salesforce experience is also valuable).
Who you are (requirements)
• 5+ years of sales management experience, ideally with a track record of scaling teams and hitting quota.
• Deep familiarity with pipeline management, sales methodologies, sales management, and sales training.
• Proven experience managing a sales development team and working with global reps.
• Strong knowledge of both inbound and outbound sales techniques.
• Hands-on experience with HubSpot required; Salesforce experience is a plus.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience in HR tech, payroll, or PEO services.
• Past responsibility for partnerships or channel development.
