About the Role:
WagMore Animal Hospital LLC is looking for a passionate and skilled Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team in Saint Charles, MO! This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pets and their families in a supportive, animal-first environment. Responsibilities:
  • Assist veterinarians with examinations, surgeries, and medical procedures
  • Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and administer medications 
  • Collect and process laboratory samples including blood, urine, and cytology
  • Monitor and maintain anesthesia during surgical procedures
  • Take and develop digital radiographs (X-rays) as directed
  • Provide compassionate patient care and recovery monitoring in the treatment area
  • Educate and communicate with pet owners regarding treatment plans and home care instructions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
Requirements:
  • Veterinary Technician certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred or equivalent clinical experience
  • Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, and laboratory procedures
  • Strong knowledge of animal handling and restraint techniques
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-friendly, compassionate demeanor
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting
  • Experience with veterinary practice management software is a plus
