Job description

OBJECTIVE:
A Swine Resource Representative is a talented and driven individual that thrives in a fast-paced environment. This successful, self-starting candidate is critical to achieving our ambitious growth objectives while ensuring the Core Values of Pipestone Veterinary Services and the expectations of our clients are being met every day.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (other duties as assigned)

  • Work directly with swine producers to provide product support and industry expertise within order placement process
  • Provide economically viable solutions to improve customer experience and longevity
  • Coordinate delivery of products and supplies to customers
  • Expand and foster existing clientele and relationships
  • Provide great attention to detail to help ensure quality service to our clients everyday
  • Champion projects and cultivate team involvement in implementation
  • Multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Provide knowledge of the livestock industry and supply chain as needed
  • Maintain our unified team through strong communication skills and willingness to assist other team members and departments when necessary
  • Drive and desire to achieve results a must
  • Fill in as needed in the Warehouse to accurately and efficiently pick, pack, and ship orders

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Education:
An Associate's degree in animal science or related field is preferred, however education and experience will be considered.

Experience:
2+ years' experience, preferably in the agriculture field or demonstrated client interactions

Work Environment:
High paced, high-energy office atmosphere
High work ethic and immense pride in getting the job done
Friendly atmosphere with great team unity

Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for 8-10 hours per day, each day of the week
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to attend and participate in meetings of various lengths

Additional Requirements:
Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation to get to work and attend meetings

Compensation, Pay & Benefits:
Compensation rate of $18-$22 hour, depending on experience
