Position

Title: Veterinary Practice Manager

Employment Type: Full‑Time

Pay Range: $73,395 - $106,016 annually

Job Purpose and Function

In partnership with the chief of staff, the Practice Manager manages day‑to‑day operations so the medical team can devote their time to delivering the highest quality veterinary care. The role uses medical practice management skills to drive business results and people leadership skills to develop associates and foster an engaging team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Educate associates on Banfield guidelines and practices.
  • Budget and plan for the hospital.
  • Support daily operations and staff.
  • Schedule associates, coordinate time off and manage continuing education needs.
  • Interview, hire and develop associates.
  • Evaluate hospital processes, progress and productivity.
  • Train associates on how to educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventive care, pet health needs and hospital services.
  • Promote a positive experience for clients and patients during hospital visits.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience providing required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Experience: Three years related experience required, including direct supervisory experience (hiring, associate development, etc.).
