What is veterinary insurance?

Veterinary insurance, also known as pet insurance, is a type of policy that helps cover the cost of veterinary care for pets. It typically reimburses pet owners for expenses related to accidents, illnesses, surgeries, and sometimes routine wellness care, depending on the plan. This insurance can help pet owners manage unexpected veterinary bills and ensure their pets receive necessary medical treatment without financial stress. Policies vary in coverage, deductibles, and premiums, so it's important to compare options before choosing a plan.

What are some common challenges Veterinary Insurance Agents face when helping clients choose the right coverage for their pets?

Veterinary Insurance Agents often encounter challenges such as explaining policy details in a way that clients can easily understand, especially since coverage options and exclusions can be complex. Las Vegas Veterinary Specialty Center & Veterinary Emergency + Critical Care is expanding and actively hiring Licensed Veterinary Technicians across multiple specialty departments. Emergency and ICU roles are available at our main hospital as well as our soon-to-open north location. If you're looking to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your skills are valued and developed, we want to connect with you to find the best fit for your experience and career goals.

Why You'll Love It Here

You nailed your VTNE, you can place a catheter with your eyes closed and your drug calculations are frankly quite impressive, and honestly, that is a major tail-wagger around here. At Veritas Veterinary Partners, we know exactly what a credentialed veterinary technician brings to the table, the treatment plan and the operating room, and we built a place worthy of all of it. Our techs are the heartbeat of the hospital, the ones clients trust during the scariest moments of their lives and the ones the veterinarians could absolutely not function without, which they will happily admit if you ask them nicely.

You will practice the full scope of your RVT, LVT or CVT credential every single day in a 24-hour specialty and emergency environment that is equal parts science, skill and the occasional cat with very strong opinions about everything. You bring your credential, your clinical instincts and your ability to read a room full of nervous humans and anxious animals without missing a beat. We bring a team that runs in the same pack, a culture built on our CIRCLE values of Compassion, Integrity, Respect, Community, Leadership and Evolution and a mission that makes showing up fur work genuinely worth it.
