In this vital role, you will coordinate client interactions, manage appointment scheduling, and support the smooth operation of our veterinary practice; ensuring that pets receive the care they need and their owners feel supported and informed. Your positive attitude and proactive approach will help create a comforting environment for pet owners and their beloved animals as they walk through our doors. You're not just answering phones; you're managing a fast paced flow of patients, coordinating seamlessly with medical staff, and delivering exceptional customer service at every interaction. The ideal candidate is someone who has a positive attitude, enjoys multitasking independently, and is able to work in a time sensitive, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Greet clients warmly, answer inquiries, and schedule appointments with enthusiasm and professionalism
  • Manage veterinary software systems to update patient records, process appointments, and handle billing procedures
  • Communicate effectively with clients about pet care instructions, vaccination schedules, and follow-up appointments
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk area, including filing documents and managing veterinary administrative support tasks
  • Ability to multi-task in a multi-doctor practice
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with good communications to colleagues on pet care

Qualifications/Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role (veterinary experience preferred but not required)
  • Excellent communication skills both via phone and in person; bilingual ability is a plus for serving diverse clients.
  • Prior experience using multi-line phone systems and handling front desk responsibilities effectively.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
