Requirements
- 2 years' RN experience preferred
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Travel experience required
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Experience with Epic charting system
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatrics in a medical-surgical ICU setting.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions using hemodynamic monitoring and other ICU-specific techniques.
- Manage ventilator settings and provide airway care, including suctioning as necessary.
- Administer medications and blood products as ordered, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for comprehensive patient management.
- Document patient care and interventions accurately in the electronic health record system.
Compliance / Notes
- Weekend coverage required: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period.
- Pre-approved time off: 1 request at the time of submission.
- Orientation: 12 hours (modules completed onsite).
- Must possess a state or compact RN license at the time of submission.
