Job description

Part-Time Monday-Friday: 8am-12pm

Transports veterans to and from residences. Ensures agency vehicle is maintained.

  • Transports veterans to and from residences and activities in a safe courteous manner.
  • Demonstrates awareness of sensitivity to the needs of the veterans.
  • Reports observations about changes in veterans to a supervisor or veteran's case manager.
  • Ensures agency vehicle is kept in good condition.
  • Informs supervisor of any problems with the vehicle.
  • Completes monthly vehicle condition reports.
  • Maintains accurate mileage and transportation logs.
  • Assists staff by performing non-clinical tasks as delegated by their supervisor.
  • Co-ordinates vehicle maintenance.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High School Diploma.
  • Some prior mental health/human service experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
