We have been faithfully serving the food diagnostic industry for over 41 years by providing services in both Microbiology and Chemistry testing. Job Description

Typical Schedules Offered: 9am - 5:30pm     may require some weekend work with occasional overtime

Responsibilities will include the following: great organizational skills, hard- working ethos, must be detail-oriented, and willing to put in the time needed to meet project deadlines. Documentation of results, pipetting, using sterile technique, make media, autoclaving, and setting up samples, general housekeeping. Candidate must be willing to work both independently and with the team. Candidate must have a good, can-do attitude.

Qualifications

Requirements for Applicant:


1. High School Diploma
2. 0-1 Years Experience (no experiences needed, we will train you!)
3. Must be able to stand and work efficiently in a fast paced environment.
4. Must be highly motivated, detail oriented.
5. Must be able to lift 10lbs with each hand and pick up to 50lbs.
6. Must be willing to learn Good Documentation Practices.
7. Must work occasional holidays.
8. Must be willing to have a flexible schedule for days that require overtime and weekend work.
9. No relocation packages available.

Preferred Requirements

1. College coursework is a plus (include on resume).

2. Experience in the sciences is a plus (examples include: Vet Tech and any food industry experience)

3. Strong knowledge in microbiology and bacteria is a plus

 4. Prior experience working in a fast paced environment. (Include on resume).
