Job description

We are seeking an experienced Vessel Fabricator to join our production team. This position is ideal for a skilled welder who prioritizes safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork. Success in this role requires strict adherence to ASME code standards and fabrication specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, isometric drawings, and fabrication layouts.
  • Lay out, fit, and fabricate vessel components and pipe in preparation for welding and installation.
  • Operate welding equipment and related fabrication tools efficiently and safely.
  • Use thermal cutting equipment such as oxy-fuel torch and plasma arc equipment.
  • Connect hoses and regulators for oxygen and fuel gas systems safely.
  • Climb ladders and work from scaffolds when required.
  • Report discrepancies and safety concerns to the shop foreman immediately.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Must be able to pass a 1G Welding Test.
  • Proven experience welding vessels to code.
  • Ability to read and build vessels from detailed print layouts.
  • AWS, API, ANSI, and ASME codes and standards.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to identify defects and non-conformance issues.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
