The Production Team Member I Reports to the Team Leads but takes direction from Plant Mgr., Asst. Plant Mgr. and designated Shift and Line Leads.
Essential Duties:
- Inspecting, sorting, pruning, and boxing product
- Ensuring that workstations are cleaned and sanitized before ending their shift
- Understand and follow plant safety rules including safe lifting practices and safe machine operation. Personal Protective Equipment is to be used where required.
- Understand and follow food safety policies and procedures. Personal Protective Equipment is to be used where required.
- Cleaning and Sanitation Duties: maintain general housekeeping in all areas of production, including the break rooms and rest rooms. Proper disposal of organic material, sanitation of food contact work areas, and general waste disposal
- Maintain quality requirements in accordance with company standards.
- Ability to work in all assigned areas of production; perform relief duties when required.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Able to stand for 8 hours while performing repetitive work in the harvesting and packing of products
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and routinely lift up to 25 lbs.
