Job Overview

Vertex Premier Hotel Services is seeking an experienced Resort Housekeeping Manager to oversee housekeeping operations at a 100-unit timeshare resort in Orlando, Florida.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on hospitality leader who can effectively manage daily housekeeping operations, maintain high cleanliness standards, lead and develop the housekeeping team, and build a strong working relationship with resort management. This position requires someone who is organized, responsive, and comfortable being actively involved in day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all daily housekeeping operations for approximately 100 timeshare units.

  • Lead, schedule, coach, and support housekeeping supervisors, room attendants, house attendants, and other housekeeping team members.

  • Ensure guest units and assigned public areas consistently meet resort and company cleanliness standards.

  • Conduct regular inspections and follow up promptly on deficiencies.

  • Coordinate daily staffing and assignments based on occupancy, arrivals, departures, and operational needs.

  • Monitor productivity, labor usage, attendance, and overall team performance.

  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels for linens, guest supplies, cleaning products, and housekeeping equipment.

  • Partner closely with resort leadership to address operational needs, guest concerns, and service opportunities.

  • Respond quickly and professionally to housekeeping-related guest or client concerns.

  • Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and development to the housekeeping team.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and applicable health and workplace regulations.

  • Maintain accurate operational records, schedules, inspection documentation, and other required reporting.

  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and retention efforts for the housekeeping department.
