What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Vertex Intern, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Vertex Intern, you generally need a strong academic background in a relevant field such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences, often accompanied by coursework or experience in research. Familiarity with laboratory techniques, data analysis tools like Excel or Python, and sometimes specialized systems such as LIMS or ELN is valuable.
