Advance your career and apply today! We are seeking a Verification Technician in Vance, AL.
The Verification Technician performs all tasks associated with verifying and calibrating equipment in a plant environment to ensure the quality of customer products. This role must be familiar with following ISO 17025 work instructions and forms related to calibrations. You'll maintain daily routes and schedules plant wide, work closely with customers to provide support, and maintain company and customer requirements.
What You'll Do:
  • Perform verifications and calibration according to ISO 17025 standards
  • Maintain a daily schedule for upcoming verifications and calibrations of customer's equipment
  • Update Quality system (QME) to maintain verification/calibration requirements
  • Collaborate with plant personnel and manage processes to meet company metrics
  • All personnel may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as required

What We Need from You:
  • 2-year college degree with technical experience preferred
  • Previous experience preferred, related to torque calibrations and ISO procedures
  • Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Effective communication skills (oral/written) with the ability to multitask
  • Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time with no lifting restrictions
