As a Security Officer Driver Badge Verification Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns, support access activities, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Guided by our agile, reliable, and innovative values, you will work as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity every day.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor site activity involving employees, visitors, deliveries, and/or vehicles, and report suspicious behavior, damaged property, or policy violations according to post instructions.
  • Support access control and badge or credential verification processes for designated areas while following client site procedures and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
