The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to Quality department, facilitating production of projects for the Department of Defense. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN QUALITY ENGINEERING INTERN AT DWT

You will perform dimensional, mechanical or visual inspection of sub-assemblies or incoming parts to ensure conformance to blueprints, engineering specifications and customer requirements; collect and maintain results according to procedure; prepare part approval documentation in accordance with company and customer procedure; collect and analyze data in support of short-term projects, support the development of verification, and other instructions with graphics and text. These tasks will assist you in developing an understanding of AS91000D Quality System and government/DCMA inspections.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Pursuing or recent graduate B.S. degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace or Industrial Engineering
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Word and Excel
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings preferred
  • Well organized and ability to compile accurate data
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
