Position Overview

Vow Venture Therapies is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team remotely. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide counseling and therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families seeking to overcome various mental health challenges. Work Environment

This position offers a remote work setting, combining the flexibility of working from home with the opportunity to engage with clients through virtual platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive, trusting relationships with clients, fostering an environment conducive to open communication and healing.
• Diagnose and treat a range of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific needs and circumstances, integrating evidence-based practices.
• Conduct regular counseling sessions with individuals, couples, and families to provide ongoing support, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Implement ongoing assessments and evaluations of clients’ progress, using standardized assessment tools to quantify improvement.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as required, referring clients to specialists such as psychologists, psychiatrists, or addiction counselors if needed.
• Participate in team meetings, sharing insights and strategies to enhance collective service delivery and patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing personal challenges, couples experiencing relationship difficulties, and families seeking to improve communication and resolve conflicts. Your role will be instrumental in helping them navigate emotional challenges and build effective coping strategies, ultimately leading to improved mental health outcomes and enhanced quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Prior experience or specialized training in addiction counseling, specifically in dealing with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
• Strong therapeutic and counseling skills, with an emphasis on building rapport and motivating clients towards healthier lifestyles.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in an outpatient setting, addressing family dynamics and relationship issues.
• Knowledge of current evidence-based practices, therapeutic techniques, and treatment modalities relevant to family therapy.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy practices.

Compensation and Benefits
