Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify their social, emotional, and economic challenges and formulate comprehensive intervention strategies.
• Develop personalized service plans, setting clear goals and defining measurable interventions while regularly monitoring progress.
• Provide individual and family counseling that is compassionate and evidence-based, addressing life transitions and psychological challenges.
• Engage in crisis intervention as necessary, including risk assessments and safety planning to ensure client well-being.
• Facilitate connections between clients and community resources, empowering them to access services and support networks effectively.
• Collaborate with other social service agencies to coordinate care and advocate for clients, maximizing their opportunities for success.
• Participate in outreach initiatives aimed at raising awareness of services offered, helping to destigmatize the issues faced by our clients.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• Must possess an active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with cultural competence to serve a diverse client base.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a social service agency or similar environment is preferred, particularly with populations facing dual diagnoses or mental health concerns.
• Familiarity with client management systems and evidence-based practices will be an advantage.
• Adeptness in crisis intervention techniques and conflict resolution.

Compensation and Benefits
