Overview
East West Bank is currently seeking an Area Manager. This position expects to operate in a team environment as well as independently. The AM creates and maintains highly engaged branch teams to achieve breakthrough results for the bank. The AM is also responsible for setting clear goals and responsibilities for their teams to make sure their area is within compliance, reviewing all branch-related matters and providing feedback for improvement, leading meetings with their assigned area, and coaching and developing their direct reports.

Responsibilities
  • Set clear and challenging goals for branch management team
  • Manage sales activities by analyzing sales reports, identifying performance gaps, creating action plans, monitoring progress and inspecting results
  • Monitor operation policies and procedures to ensure assigned area is within compliance with federal, state and local regulations
  • Develop tracking logs to monitor and improve branch matters through branch training and coaching
  • Effectively communicate sales to Branch Managers and Assistant Branch Managers from corporate
  • Track day-to-day deposit movements through various reports
  • Assist senior management team in recommendation and implementation of deposit retention action plans
  • May perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years retail/commercial banking experience
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Flexible and adaptable to dynamic environment
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiar with federal and state banking laws and regulations

Compensation
The base pay range for this position is USD $100,000.00/Yr. - USD $150,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
