Director of Marketing

Venice & Surrounding Areas | Full-Time |

The Palms at Venice is seeking an experienced director of marketing to join our leadership team. This position is ideal for a motivated healthcare professional who excels at building relationships, increasing census, and serving as the face of a high-quality post-acute care facility throughout the Sarasota, Venice, and surrounding communities.

Position Summary

The director of marketing will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong referral relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, assisted living communities, home health agencies, hospices, and other healthcare partners. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with admissions and clinical leadership to drive census growth while promoting exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain referral relationships throughout Sarasota and sounding areas.

  • Increase skilled nursing admissions and overall facility census.

  • Conduct routine visits to hospitals, physician offices, rehabilitation facilities, assisted living communities, and other referral sources.

  • Build strong partnerships with discharge planners, case managers, social workers, and healthcare providers.

  • Represent the organization at networking events, healthcare meetings, and community functions.

  • Collaborate with the admissions team to ensure prompt referral follow-up and admission coordination.

  • Track referral activity and identify opportunities for market growth.

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives to strengthen community presence.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of healthcare marketing, admissions, business development, or clinical liaison experience preferred.

  • Skilled Nursing Facility, Rehabilitation, Hospital, Home Health, Hospice, or Assisted Living experience strongly preferred.

  • Proven track record of building referral relationships and increasing census.

  • Excellent communication, networking, and organizational skills.

  • Self-motivated, professional, and results-oriented.

  • Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation.
