Job Summary and Responsibilities

This is a remote position. 

The Region Manager Pharmacy 340B Program leads and manages the daily operations of the 340B Program within a Region(s) to assure an optimized and compliant program. This position serves as the primary internal program manager for all 340B-related matters for the Region and as the primary representative for the Region to the system for all 340B-related concerns.

As the leader of the Region 340B Operations team, the Manager works closely with other Region leaders as well as System leaders to assure that 340B vision and strategies are implemented and sustained throughout the Region.

The Manager will operationalize program improvements, expansions, implementations, and sustain maintenance and operations of the all components of the 340B Program and is responsible for ensuring optimal 340B Program compliance, quality, and operations at each covered entity in Region. The manager assures that Region stakeholders, associated leaders, and staff have access to 340B Program education and training and are well-informed about available resources.

The Manager supports all facilities within the Region(s) that participate in, or may be eligible to participate in, the 340B Drug Discount Program, including ambulatory, contract pharmacy, and specialty pharmacy components. This position reports to the System Director Pharmacy 340B Program over Operations, and will sustain a close working relationship with the Region Director of Pharmacy and close working relationships with the System 340B Operations Support Team, other Region Managers and work groups.

 • Implements processes, policies, procedures and technology to effectively transition the 340B Program to a proactive, integrated successful program.

 • Works to continually improve the program quality and compliance.

 • Maintains awareness of 340B regulatory guidance, policy/rule issues and changes, and potential program changes.

 • In collaboration with Corporate Responsibility, assures regulatory compliance at each covered entity in the Region.

 • Achieves positive Region-level 340B Program financial results.

 • Communicates relevant information including program changes, risks, and improvement recommendations.

 • Operationalizes program improvements, expansions, and implementations.

• Vendor services and solutions.

 • Contract pharmacy relationships and management.

 • Operational assessments of current and prospective contracts, opportunities, and improvements.

  • Bachelors, preferrably in Pharmacy or related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of management experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years operational 340B Program experience.
