To excel as a Vendor Manager in a remote setting, you need strong contract negotiation, supply chain management, and analytical skills, often supported by a degree in business or supply chain and relevant experience. Familiarity with procurement platforms (such as SAP Ariba or Coupa), vendor management systems, and data analysis tools is typically required.
