Job description

CIS is currently searching for a qualified candidate to fulfill our Vendor Coordinator role. This role is pivotal to the success of our Sales, Project Management, and Dispatch teams. This role will maintain a nationwide vendor base for field labor and supplier resources. The VC will work directly with our field services teams to assist in sourcing and maintaining our vendor partners.

CIS' managed and field service offerings are vast in scope but focused on IT network infrastructure management and onsite implementation. The VC is responsible for supporting these solutions by procuring resources to match the required needs per solution.

The VC will primarily report directly to the Manager of Field Services and to other members of CIS' leadership team as required.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

- Maintain a national vendor network of field installation labor, suppliers, partners to support CIS' national model.

- Negotiation of rate structures with contracted partners.

- Maintain relationships and improve skill sets provided to our customers.

- Provides support to resolve partner, supplier, and field service escalations.

- Attend annual vendor/partner meeting to provide recognition and relay the future visions of the company.

- Assist with vendor billing reviews, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.

- Maintain and improve a repository of vendor/partner information.

- Work with CIS' accounting team to review annual vendor/partner spends, expired contracts, rate structures and certificates of insurance (COI)

- Support large project rollouts by evaluating existing supplier (or sourcing new) to provide best costs to our customers.

- Quarterly evaluation of material and rental cost model. Updating of pricing and agreement with suppliers for commonly sourced items.

Preferred Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Customer Service or Dispatch position.

- 2yr Assoc. degree from accredited institution or trade school.

- Industry Certifications - Comp TI A+C

- Experience in the construction and field installation services is a plus

- Experience with trenching/directional boring is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $55,000.00 per year
