Job description

Connect Staffing is hiring production workers for a fresh produce distribution and packaging facility in Los Alamitos, CA. Pay is $18/hr and this is a long-term, full-time placement with a schedule of 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM. In this role, you will pack fresh fruits and vegetables inside a cold room, handling product throughout the shift. This is a long-term need with stable hours.
Pay: $18/hr
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Location: Los Alamitos, CA

Responsibilities
  • Pack fresh fruits and vegetables following quality and product presentation standards.
  • Load and arrange boxes and products in packaging and distribution areas.
  • Inspect product to identify damaged pieces or items that do not meet quality standards.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized during the shift.
  • Follow line supervisor instructions to meet production goals.

Minimum Requirements
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, production, or packaging environment. Ability to stand for the entire shift in a cold room environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications Experience packing fruits, vegetables, or other fresh/perishable products.
  • Experience working in a cold room, refrigerated warehouse, or temperature-controlled environment. Familiarity with basic quality standards and visual product inspection.
  • Ability to work at a good pace on a production or packaging line. Experience in distribution facilities for food, flowers, or other perishable products.
