Instead of buying from across the world, we work with both large local growers like Untiedt's Vegetable Farm and small local farmers in our stores' neighborhoods to ensure maximum freshness. Kowalski's seeks quality over all else, which means we buy only the highest grades possible. We also carry exclusive high-quality products that you can't get anywhere else. Our friendly produce staff is highly trained with the experience and knowledge to give customers the best service in the Twin Cities. Responsibilities include keeping our department stocked, clean and organized so that customers can easily find the products they are looking for.

The ideal candidate that we are looking for will have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build right relationships with both coworkers and customers to create a welcoming and helpful environment. This is a fast-paced job that keeps you moving!

Requirements:

  • Available afternoon/evenings and weekends
    • Must be able to work 20-30 hours/week 
  • Must be able to lift and carry between 5 and 70 pounds
  • Ensure quality and safety of food
  • Comfortable speaking to customers in an energetic and helpful manner
  • Ability to work independently
  • Interest in product knowledge so as to be able to educate customers on our product
  • Understand that you have the power to impact customers and coworkers day in a positive way
