Job description

Veeam is the Data and AI Trust Company, specializing in helping organizations ensure their data and AI are fully understood, secured, and resilient to enable the acceleration of safe AI at scale. As the market leader in both data resilience and data security posture management, Veeam is built for the convergence of identity, data, security, and AI risk. Headquartered in Seattle with offices in more than 30 countries, Veeam protects over 550,000 customers worldwide, who trust Veeam to keep their businesses running. Join us as we go fearlessly forward together, growing, learning, and making a real impact for some of the world's biggest brands.
About the Role:
The Director, Technology Alliances - NVIDIA is responsible for developing and scaling Veeam's strategic partnership with NVIDIA to advance Veeam's role in AI-driven enterprise infrastructure. NVIDIA is the market leader shaping AI Factory architectures through its platforms, reference architectures, and validated designs. This role will help ensure Veeam plays a critical role in the software stack within those environments, particularly in Data and AI Trust. This is a Director-level individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Director, Technology Alliances - ISV & Security Domain Leader. The role is expected to work cross-functionally across product, engineering, sales, marketing, and technical architecture.
NOTE: Due to business needs, there is a strong preference for qualified candidates to be based on West Coast/PT time zone.
ALSO NOTE: Be sure to review listed compensation ranges for your respective geography - the budgeted target is the midpoint/middle of each range, so please ensure that your expectations align.
What you'll do:
  • Own and execute Veeam's alliance strategy with NVIDIA
  • Drive Veeam's inclusion in NVIDIA partner programs, including NVIDIA Connect.
  • Lead efforts to secure Veeam's inclusion in Enterprise AI Factory Reference Architectures and, over time, Enterprise AI Factory Validated Designs.
  • Identify and prioritize joint solution opportunities that strengthen Veeam's role in AI Factory environments, especially in Data and AI Trust
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to support integrations, certifications, technical validation, and solution alignment with NVIDIA platforms
  • Work with sales, channel, and marketing teams to enable ecosystem-led go-to-market motions through OEMs, alliance partners, service providers, and other strategic routes to market
  • Build relationships with NVIDIA business and technical stakeholders and act as Veeam's primary alliance lead for the partnership
  • Develop messaging, sales plays, and enablement that help ecosystem partners position Veeam-NVIDIA solutions in the market
  • Track and report on alliance KPIs, strategic milestones, and business impact
  • Help shape Veeam's strategy and positioning for Data and AI Trust in emerging AI infrastructure ecosystems

What you'll bring:
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic alliances, business development, or technology partnerships in enterprise software, cloud, infrastructure, or AI ecosystems
  • Proven success managing complex strategic alliances that require coordination across product, GTM, and executive stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of NVIDIA technologies and ecosystem concepts, including CUDA and Rubin
  • Ability to engage credibly with both business and technical audiences, while partnering closely with a technical architect counterpart
  • Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, data protection, security, and emerging AI platform trends
  • Experience driving outcomes through indirect and ecosystem-led go-to-market motions rather than relying only on direct resale
  • Strong communication, executive presence, and cross-functional leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with NVIDIA or within the broader AI, GPU, or accelerated infrastructure ecosystem
  • Experience supporting reference architectures, validated designs, joint solutions, or other ecosystem-led platform initiatives
  • Experience operating in global or highly matrixed organizations
  • Willing to travel as needed for partner meetings, internal planning, and industry events
