The Role:

  • Own end to end system validation of vehicle software including but not limited to performance attributes, infotainment, comfort, safety, security, access control, powertrain
  • Identify, document, and manage System test & validation requirements at Vehicle level
  • Drive decisions on test strategies with collaboration between quality assurance, validation, development, systems engineering and product teams
  • Create & amend manual/automated test cases to perform System validation
  • Align and support SQA processes and activities within functional areas such as System, Hardware and Safety
  • Troubleshoot systems/sub-systems/component using lab and measurement equipment including power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters as well as tools such as Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, etc.
  • Support manufacturing and service teams with troubleshooting
  • Identify gaps and areas for improvements and drive to a solution

Qualifications:

  • BS minimum in an engineering discipline (computer science, electrical engineering, Mechanical or similar)
  • 5+ Years of Automotive testing experience
  • Experience task and requirements management tools like JIRA and JAMA
  • Experience using Agile/Scrum/Sprint methodology as well as waterfall methodology
  • Experience with software development best practices
  • Knowledge of ASPICE, APQP, ISO26262, FMVSS and SAE standards and practices
  • Familiarity with MATLAB, Vector and/or Peak CAN based tools
  • Experience with languages like Python, C, C++ is a plus
