Job description

Trusted is seeking an experienced allied health professional for this exciting travel assignment. Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Nationwide Childrens and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Nationwide Childrens.

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Experience required with Optiflow hi-flo system, Metaneb, cough assist, Aerogen, chest physiotherapy including using the vest, continuous albuterol administration, Volara, Heliox, asthma education, tracheostomy tubes, LTV ventilator, EV300 ventilator, Hamilton G5, Trilogy, V60, and SiPAP. 2 years experience in a pediatric hospital.

Unit Details: Neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patient population on a pulmonary/complex care unit with a wide variety of respiratory disease processes. Care for trach patients and patients requiring non-invasive devices. Uses Epic.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: Will need to float to other areas, including the ICUs, if needed; NICU/PICU experience required due to floating requirement.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience

14 days maximum time off

2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
