They typically work in banks, museums, casinos, or other institutions where secure storage is essential. Their duties can include logging items in and out, monitoring access, conducting regular inventory checks, and ensuring compliance with security protocols. Vault Assistants play a crucial role in safeguarding sensitive items and supporting the smooth operation of secure storage facilities.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a vault assistant, and why are they important?

Familiarity with security systems, surveillance equipment, and inventory management software is typically required. Reliability, discretion, and strong organizational skills are crucial soft skills for handling sensitive assets and maintaining accurate records. These abilities ensure the secure, efficient management of valuable items and uphold trust in high-security environments.
