What are value-added services in the telecom industry?

VAS, or Value-Added Services, refer to non-core services offered by telecom operators beyond standard voice calls and fax transmissions. These include services like SMS, MMS, mobile internet, ringtones, caller tunes, mobile banking, and entertainment applications.
